This book provides a historic journey of the Olympic Movement from its beginnings in ancient Greece to Coubertin’s revival. It presents a study of the symbolism that identifies the Olympics and analyzes the most important events in the Winter and Summer Games as well as in the intermediate four year periods (Olympiads), finishing with a succinct exploration of the International Olympic Committee, the National Olympic Committees and the International Federations.
