It deals with the origin of the Games in Olympia, the ideology of Pierre de Coubertin, and the Olympic Movement, its structure, symbols and emblems. It also contains brief notes about the modern Summer Olympic Games (from Athens 1896 to Tokyo 2020) and Winter Olympic Games (from Chamonix 1924 to PyeongChang 2018). Finally, it lists the Olympic medals won by Spain between 1900 and 2016.
