For the purposes of this article on the future of the Paralympic Games, David Legg uses as a basis one of his previous lectures "Olympic and Paralympic Games: Convergence or Stasis", where he addressed this topic in light of his 25 years of service to the Paralympic movement. From this he develops his original ideas reflecting on the changes since 2019. In terms of the future of the Paralympic Games, he believes that there are a multitude of influences, but that the main one, which is the subject of this article, is the interaction with the Olympic Games.
