This chapter seeks to present and discuss a concept referred to as ‘conflictual planning,’ based on a reflection on the elaboration process of the Vila Autódromo People’s Plan, a low-income neighborhood and its contribution to the battle against the removal of residents threatened by the construction of the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, the main concentration of sports teams for the 2016 Olympics.
