The use of programs to teach social values through sports has become popular in recent years. However, limited evidence has been reported on programming implemented by government organizations in Central America. The purpose of this study focused on analyzing the status of implementation of a mentoring program taught by athletes for school educational centers in Guatemala. The research objectives were achieved through a quantitative approach and the participation of 70 participants involved in the program.
