Fifth review and overview of changes from 2017 to 2024 : ASOIF Governance Taskforce : progressing towards better International Federation governance / Association of Summer Olympic International Federations

For the fifth time, the Governance Task Force (GTF), established by the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF), is reporting on a study of International Federation (IF) governance. As agreed by the ASOIF General Assembly in 2016,
the GTF’s aim is to assist the summer IFs in promoting a better culture of governance to help ensure they are fit for purpose.
Continuing the approach of the previous reviews, published in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2022, the evaluation for 2023-24 took place by means of a questionnaire for IFs to complete with independent
moderation of the responses.
