This work provides an approach to the profession of physical educator in Spain, its history, its collegiate organisation and its regulations. It also justifies the general interest and the need for this profession, already regulated as a qualified and collegiate profession, to finally have a state law that explains its reserved activities, overcoming the regulatory dispersion and legal uncertainty to which it has been subjected.
