Pierre de Coubertin was 69 years old when he published his "Olympic Memoirs". In it, he gives a detailed and personal account of the main events linked to the Olympic Movement between 1892 and 1930, including the creation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the renovation of the Olympic Games, the IOC Congresses and Sessions, the staging of the Olympic Games, his role as President of the IOC between 1896 and 1925 and the few years that followed.
