Pierre de Coubertin was 69 when he published his “Olympic memoirs”. In them, he gives a detailed, personal account of the main Olympic Movement events and milestones between 1892 and 1930, including the creation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the revival of the Olympic Games, the IOC Congresses and Sessions, the staging of the Olympic Games, his term as IOC President from 1896 to 1925, and the years that followed.
