TERMS OF LOAN
PUBLICATIONS:
There are two ways to borrow publications from the Olympic Studies Centre:
- by going to the Olympic Studies Centre in Lausanne. Loans are for one month, and this service is free of charge. Loans can be extended up to three times via your user account. You have to live in Switzerland or in bordering France.
- through a national or international interlibrary loan. You can borrow publications by asking your library to send us a loan request by email or directly from the Olympic World Library. We will then send it the requested publications for a six-week loan, and your library will be responsible for lending you the publications.
ARTICLES:
There are three ways to consult the articles available in the Olympic World Library:
- by going to the Olympic Studies Centre. Articles are accessible online through the Olympic World Library or in hard copy form in our collections. You can consult, print or download them.
- through a national or international interlibrary loan. Your library will email us a request for the articles you want, and we will send it paper copies or scans of the articles ordered.
- through a university network. The articles may be available online if your university network has access to the same electronic journal publishers as those of the Olympic World Library.
E-BOOKS:
Our E-books collection is also available for loans. Simply email us your request, and we will send you the corresponding pdf for a period of 28 days. After this time, the pdf will no longer be active, but you can borrow it again, if necessary.
