Syracuse media library

The Olympic Multimedia Library contains 400.000 photos, 33.000 hours of video, 2.000 archive documents, 8.500 hours of sound recordings and 20.000 Olympic Museum objects.

This unique heritage covers:

- The ex-libris Coubertin fonds, the Coubertin manuscripts and other presidents’ archives

- The recordings of all the Sessions and meetings, representing a source of historical evidence

- IOC copyright photographs

- Worldwide television broadcast images

Professors and university researchers seeking photos, videos or sound recordings in the framework of an academic project linked to Olympism and/or sport can access the Olympic Multimedia Library. Please write to images@olympic.org, mentioning: the name of your university, your academic status and a brief description of your project.
