The persons responsible for sports governing bodies and members of the sports movement’s disciplinary and arbitration bodies have to be aware of the need to protect human rights and of the principles that could conflict with their regulations or decisions. This handbook reviews the human rights provisions that may be threatened by practices or decisions of the sports movement.
