Report on the seven International Federations short-listed for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad / Olympic Programme Commission

The Olympic Programme Commission has conducted an analysis of the seven sports selected as candidates for admission to the 2016 Olympic programme. This report is intended to provide the IOC Executive Board and the IOC Session with as much information as possible about these seven sports. The report is organised by IF, presented in alphabetical order of the sports (baseball, golf, karate, rollerblading, rugby, softball, squash). Each part of the report is structured in the same way: proposal for the Olympic Games, history and tradition, universality, popularity, transparency and fairness in the competition area, protection of athletes, development, governance and annex.
