Due to Covid-19, events and activities around the world have been cancelled or postponed, and preparations for sporting events have been greatly challenged. This study explores effective prevention and control measures for COVID-19 in large international events. According to risk assessment indicators produced by different scenarios of the simulated interventions, the risk of COVID-19 transmission in Tokyo Olympic Games was assessed.
