In the second part of his series of articles on the early Olympic Movement in Turkey, Tolga Şinoforoğlu looks at the establishment of the Turkish NOC and the first participation of a small team in the Stockholm Games in 1912. A Turk was also appointed to the International Olympic Committee for the first time in 1909.
