Who knows Ivar Vind (1921-77) today? There are probably not many beyond a small circle of sports historians and Danish sports enthusiasts. Despite his central position on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for many years, he is not mentioned in the organization's official history work from 2008. Now he has had his efforts described in the form of a mini-biography in the book "Olympic values and conflicts". Here, his efforts are highlighted in light of the major conflicts that characterized the IOC during his period as an active Member.
