Based on the exhibition of the artwork by Spanish artist Cristóbal Gabarrón, presented at the Olympic Museum on February 18, 1999, Conrado Durántez and Thomas P. Rosandich, in collaboration with the artist, present in this book a special history of the Modern Olympic Games (Athens 1896 - Atlanta 1996). Gabarrón reflects the achievements of humankind during the Modern Olympic Movement through his paintings and sculptures, employing his abstract techniques and styles.
