This document sets out the key principles of use of participants’ images for advertising that are applicable to the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 (Beijing 2022), further to Bye-law 3 to Rule 40 of the Olympic charter. It seeks to clarify what is possible during the Games period and put participants in a better position to work with their sponsors in a manner consistent with their rights and responsibilities under the Athletes’ declaration and the Olympic charter.
