WHAT IS THE OWL NETWORK
Created in 2016 by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre, the Olympic World Library (OWL) is simultaneously a library catalogue, an information portal and a search engine dedicated to literature on the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games.
The Olympic World Library Network is an initiative aiming to bring together library collections from various institutions, with the objective of making Olympic and sports knowledge accessible. Via this platform, users can freely access the bibliographic descriptions and digital documents of all partners.
The current partner is the National Olympic Committee of Spain, and more will join the OWL Network shortly.
The OWL Network is managed by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre, and each partner is responsible for its own collection.
